Playa de las Teresitas

This little windy beach is one of the several Tenerife’s artificial beaches with white sand (imported from some pleasant place like the Sahara desert or something similar). All the domestic sand is, of course, the black volcanic one. A quick dip wasn’t lethal but a bit too refreshing to my spoiled taste, so it was also a very quick one. The wind is merciless and it isn’t too warm, but hey – it’s December, 26 th, I really, really should not be complaining. Actually, the thin sand is propelled by the wind with such fury that I feel sandblasted.
